ARTS FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPPMENT PROJECT : A Romanian model for social integration through art

In the framework of the Arts for Social Development project, organized by EUNIC Athens and coordinated by the British Council, the Embassy of Romania in Greece will organize the event A Romanian model for social integration through art, focused on the social integration through art of the Romanian community in  Greece. Mrs. Monica Savulescu Voudouri, sociologist, writer and President of the Cultural Society Contemporary Balkania will address a presentation on this subject, focusing on the Romanian immigration in Greece and the activities of the association, as a model of social integration through art. The event will include a musical moment and a theater play, a classical comedy by Ion Luca Caragiale: Master Leonidas Faces the Reactionaries, performed by the Professional Theater studio from the Diaspora of the Cultural Society Contemporary Balkania. The event is organized by the Embassy of Romania with the support if the Romanian Cultural Institute.
