European Literary Walk

Saturday 27 September 2014 12.00–16.00 Stoa tou Vivliou (Book Arcade), Athens

This Autumn, in partnership with EUNIC (European Union National Institutes of Culture), we invite you to meet a number of well-known writers from all over Europe.

Renowned writers, actors and journalists will read extracts from our guest writers’ work in the presence of the writers themselves at an event at the Book Arcade (Stoa tou Vivliou). Each reading will be followed by a conversation with the writer and will be repeated so that everyone will have the opportunity to take part in all the readings.

This year’s writers are:

  • David Harsent (British Council)
  • Pierre Assouline (French institute)
  • Xaver Bayer (Austrian Embassy)
  • Rafael Chirbes (Instituto Cervantes)
  • Tefcros Michaelides (House of Cyprus)
