In the context of the EUNIC Athens project Arts for Social Development the Swedish Institute at Athens organizes a Seminar on Refugees and Migrants in Greece on April 29, 2014, and a Workshop on April 30, 2014.

SEMINAR PROGRAMME

Charlotte Wrangberg, Ambassador of Sweden: “EU, Sweden and the refugees – the necessity of increased and shared responsibility.”

Annette Rosengren presents her book “Running on water. Transit Greece – refugees and migrants on the outskirts of the EU” (Excerpts from the Swedish book available in English translation.)

Discussion

WORKSHOP

The workshop is led by professor Pavlos Kavouras, University of Athens, and Swedish ethnologist Dr. Annette Rosengren. It will explore the use of video and literature in tackling issues related to ethnicity, migration and social integration.
